At first, there was only the version for IOS, but in a small-time receive version for Android.
In 2016 reached 100 million monthly active users, and in 2017 this number changed for 180 million.

In the Telegram app, you can create big groups of up to 200 thousand members, secret or open groups, on the platform, there is the streaming of videos and songs. Offers many resources to the users and started as a substitute for the SMS, the original idea is not similar with the version that we use nowadays, at first they had the goal of making the app show your status for the numbers in your contact schedule in cellphone when you were busy or something like that, but they started to change this for cooler things, by the time started to becomes a messenger for the users. And they turned the WhatsApp into a messaging app.

Over time mainly after being purchased by Facebook started to have new resources like video and audio calls, status continuing being available on the app, and more recent resources give to the user the possibility of share status in the shape of video and photo that disappear after 24 hours.
